Natasha’s Album Project – Day five

Day 5. Again we had a 3 PM start with prayer and then she went right into the vocal booth to drop the last two pieces plus the intro’s to each piece. This took maybe an hour total. One day ahead of the established schedule we are done with the album foundation and all of her vocals.

We did a final critical listen to each vocal track to ensure all was well and as of 8:47 pm on Aug 28th we were done! Natasha and I are deeply satisfied with the results and the last thing I will be doing before she returns to Montreal is some basic reference mixes she can take with her.

I want to say I can’t believe things went as well as they have but that would be untrue. The truth is that creation flows through me whenever I ask the source to deliver whatever I need to accomplish the task at hand. “Ask and ye shall receive”! Every day Natasha and I asked for creative flow and each day we dropped it like it was hot when it came.

So when I trust the source it would be foolish to say that I can’t believe I received what I asked for.  Having said that,  without arrogance as God said when he looked upon his creation “it is good”; we listen to our creation and say “this is good!” Thehehehheheheheheh, really good!

The next part of the work is on me which is completing all of the instrumentation for each track. The process continues………………. I can’t wait to share the finished product with the collective “you”.
