I Make My Life What It Is

Sometimes I have to say out loud, “I make my life what it is!” I choose to get up or sleep in. I choose to be on time or not. I choose to make an excuse or not care what another thinks about something I have or haven’t done.
I choose to plan my next move or just drift. I choose to rush because I’ve wasted so much time in the past and now I feel behind schedule, or accept that I am right where I’m supposed to be given my choices, but I don’t have to be behind schedule this time next week, next month, or next year.
I can choose to see my life however I choose to, including taking on another person’s point of view, which looks clearer than mind until my own vision drives me toward whatever clearer vision allows me to see. I can choose to accept that every other person on the planet either reaps a benefit or misses one because of my positive contribution to life itself, or lack thereof.
I stand on this knowing that, whatever it takes, whatever must be overcome, I will give to this life what is requested of me. Faithful stewardship in the execution of the gifts placed in me. To do what I was placed here to do is my only real mission. Live well, love deeply, learn continually and leave a legacy.
The question is what will you do? Contribute or consume? Give or take? Uplift or diminish? Win or go home empty? I make my life what it is!
Just my thoughts.

It’s interesting how we ignore that simple thing called “choice” and use excuses…of course I have been one to choose to not always see the choice before me and sulk in what does not feel good in the end. We have the choice and we experience one way or another the outcome of our choice.
I choose to honor myself more in in doing so others will benefit!
Thank you for always making me think on those simple things that is so easy to over look.
