Bloggin 365: Day 4

I know that God hears me and has always been listening. I know that God sees me and has always been watching.
His watching must be similar to the way in which I can watch a baby. I can observe the baby while the baby is completely oblivious to my presence. Or, His watching must be similar to the sleeping child with a tooth underneath a pillow resting soundly, unaware of the loving parent prepared to replace the tooth with a coin. For a time the child will live in the illusion that the tooth fairy came, however at some point the child comes to know it was the parent all along.
This is similar to the false belief I have carried for years, believing that in all of my giftedness I am the reason for……. whatever. In quiet reflection I now find it requires no effort to see God orchestrating my escape from lethal harm, illuminating my darkness just in time for me to be broken for my own good but not beyond repair and continuing my blessing flow that is still undeserved.
I can now look back over my life and see many acts of love from the father I’ve never seen before now. In my times of joy as well as in times of deep darkness God was with me. He always has been and shall always be. My life is good and God knows this heart I have even though most of you don’t. How good it is to know that God is here always.

It is interesting in trying to explain the experience of faith and belief…the knowing of the constant…From the sunshine to the darkness and back again, God has been my constant. He is who fuels my very being and why I try to understand and work towards MY GREATNESS. By no means am I perfect, always learning and evolving. The journey begins, sometimes there is a flow and sometimes there is a dam but always a journey. You have been apart of my journey. You have challenged me and it has not always be easy. There has always been respect for the true purpose…So I today give thanks for you REL!
