Tashe Album: The Final Week Of Track Production

At last the final week of track production has arrived. I am very pleased with the work accomplished thus far and excited to be closing in on the completion of the first commercial release for SCR Entertainment of 2010.

Track Production: Three Tracks Down

At last I have started the track production for the Tashe album. While Natasha was in town from Montreal Canada we did 11 track drafts in five days. These were very basic pieces providing the tempo, mood and foundation for her vocals.

Natasha’s Album Project – Day five

Day 5. Again we had a 3 PM start with prayer and then she went right into the vocal booth to drop the last two pieces plus the intro’s to each piece. This took maybe an hour total. One day ahead of the established schedule we are done with the album foundation and all of her vocals.

Natasha’s Album Project – Day Four

Day 4. Today we got our start around 3 pm again. As I type this I am listening to the “Tashe Theme” song created after the recording day was finished and I was just free-styling with an acoustic guitar sound on my keyboard. No accidents!

Day 3. Today we got started around 2 pm. We prayed for creative flow and gave thanks for all of the beauty which was accomplished on the previous two days. We began with a single goal in mind; have Natasha deliver the last of her pieces and finish the remaining musical drafts.

Day 2. We got our start in the studio today at 3 pm. After a short prayer she was back in front of the mic again. The process from the beginning has been that she would recite a piece without music and then she would sit next to me as we listen and I wait.
